This page is about one of our favorite places to go to rejuvenate, slow down the pace of a busy life, and get transported to another place - one filled with serenity and calm, all while still remaining close to home. There are color-colded, short hiking trails which are perfect for the kids with enough of the great outdoors and a spectacular view of the water's edge to satisfy me.
I've been more conscious of thinking differently and filling in the gaps in our family scrapbooks ever since taking Stacy Julian's BPS Library of Memories class (~3 years ago) and the places around town that we love is one area that could use some beefing up! Another section that I'm working on creating pages for is the friends and family that we love. I have two pages that I created during the first weeks of my recovery to share in this section (and a bunch more that I've added to Things in my "scrapbooking" category for those that I have topics for that I can easily look at when I have some time to scrapbook). I've also been in contact via email with my half-sister over the past few months and I hope to add a page or two about her to this section soon.
[If you are interested in Stacy's Library of Memories system but missed this year's class, you have to check out two of Stacy's books: Photo Freedom and Big Picture Scrapbooking are awesome. I took the class but still bought these books!!]
