Hi there. Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting my blog. I'm a mom, yoga teacher, artist, and foodie. I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT), an ACE-certified personal trainer, and a Spinning-certified indoor cycling instructor . I enjoy cycling on the roads and trails of my home in Northern Virginia, playing outside (and in our dining-room-turned-art-room) with my kids, hanging out with my husband, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, documenting all of the wonderful details of life through the lens of my camera, creating mixed-media art and jewelry, tending to my small kitchen garden, and reading. I spend entirely too much time thinking about food, browsing through my cookbook collection, and visualizing all the yummy things I wants to cook and bake.
I am a lifelong learner and an ever-evolving work-in-progress. I also makes lots of lists... lists of books I've read, lists of books I want to read, lists of things I want to do, lists of things she needs to do, lists of goals, weekly menu planning lists, lists of places she'd like to visit, and lists of recipes to try. I enjoy listening to music and likes to sing as if I were the rock star lead singer (much to the dismay of people within earshot).
I believe it's beneficial to dwell in the realm of possibilities and create many opportunities for adventure (even if they happen to occur in your own backyard, or let's be honest... in your mind). I believe that living creatively, treasuring the every day moments that makes life extraordinary, nurturing yourself with wholesome, honest, REAL food, and taking naps are the keys to a happy life.
